Forums & Jurisdictions
Transactions
The leading forums of Mediations and Arbitrations included in our experience are; the International Court of Arbitration at the ICC, the London Court of International Arbitrations (LCIA), Court of Arbitration for Sports in Switzerland (CAS), UNCITRAL, Singapore International Arbitration Center (SIAC) and Dubai International Finance Center (DFIC). In addition we have handled matters involving laws of England, Singapore, UAE and Switzerland amongst others.
AR&P has been involved with transactions in a wide array of sectors. Transactions undertaken by us include acquisitions in the telecommunication sector, construction and FIDIC contracts, lending & debt, financial product structuring, O&M contracts and franchise operations. Pre transaction services include extensive due diligence of companies, assets, immovable properties and intellectual property rights.
Litigation
The Firm represents clients in litigations before the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the five High Courts, District & Civil Courts across Pakistan, Banking Courts, Income Tax Tribunal, Drug Courts, Consumer Courts and numerous other special courts, tribunals and regualtory authorities including the Competition Commission of Pakistan, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, PEMRA, OGRA and the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan.
